The Mission to Seafarers Fund-raising Dinner is being held Friday, April 25 at the Current River Community Centre – 450 Dewe Ave., 5:30 pm doors open and 6:15 pm dinner. Tickets: adults $45.00; children 6 to 12 $20.00. The theme of the dinner is the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic and the guest speaker is Lieutenant-Commander Roger Farn, Commanding Officer of HMCS GRIFFON. This dinner is one of the main fund-raisers for the Mission, so please come out and support this worthy cause.
